1. Contractual framework
All rentals offered by La Bergerie du Mas Delon are governed by a furnished holiday rental contract (contrat de location de meublé de tourisme), sent to the guest before the booking is finally confirmed.
The full rental terms are attached to the contract. Guests are asked to read the contract and the attached terms carefully before confirming their booking.
2. Booking and deposit
Once you have sent your booking request, we send you a quote and a rental contract. The booking becomes final under the conditions set out in that contract, on payment of a 25% deposit of the price of the stay.
The balance is due 30 days before arrival. A last-minute booking is paid in full.
3. What the contract specifies
The rental contract sent to the guest sets out, in particular:
- the accommodation booked and its capacity;
- the dates of the stay;
- the price of the stay;
- the amount of the deposit;
- how and when the balance is to be paid;
- any security deposit;
- the tourist tax;
- any additional charges;
- the end-of-stay cleaning fee;
- the cancellation conditions.
For 2026 stays, these amounts are as follows:
- End-of-stay cleaning fee: €65 for the gîte Bergerie, €75 for the gîtes Salagou, Papillon, Mimosa and Garrigue, €95 for the gîte Lavande. The gîte is to be left clean; the fee is only charged if it is not.
- Security deposit: a security deposit equal to the cleaning fee is taken on arrival and returned to you on departure, provided the gîte is left clean.
- 2026 tourist tax: €0.94 per adult per night, not included in the price of the stay.
- Utilities: water, electricity and heating are included in the price of the stay — no meter readings, no extras.
4. Payment methods
The payment methods accepted depend on how you pay: remotely or on site.
- Remotely — deposit at booking, balance 30 days before arrival: bank transfer or cheque. Card payment is not accepted remotely.
- On site — last-minute stay paid in full, bed linen and towel hire, cleaning fee where applicable: the same methods, plus card payment and cash.
- Security deposit: by cheque or in cash.
