What exclusive hire really changes
Taking the whole estate is not a prestige upgrade: it is the one condition that lifts, in a single move, most of the constraints of a conventional reception venue.
No curfew
176 isolated hectares, with no immediate neighbours. When the whole estate is let, the only limit is the one the group sets itself: there is nobody else to disturb.
Nobody drives home
Your guests sleep on site, across 11 independent gîtes. No shuttle to arrange, no late-night drive, no hotel to book thirty kilometres away.
Why the whole estate? Because that is what protects our other guests. An event for forty or sixty people cannot sit alongside families who came here for the quiet. The rule is not a commercial one — it is simply the only honest way to keep both of the estate's promises.
How your quote is built
There is no published price list for events, and that is not a way of saving ourselves time: it is that no two events are ever alike.
Exclusive hire covers the entire estate
All 11 gîtes and all 176 hectares, not a part of it. That is the starting point of the quote.
The season
A wedding in July and a company retreat in November do not occupy the same estate, or the same calendar.
The length of stay
Two nights, three nights, a whole week: duration weighs more heavily than anything else.
The number of guests
Twenty-five people and sixty people call for neither the same number of gîtes nor the same organisation.

The day before to set up, the day after for an unhurried brunch. Many venues ask for three.

Directly, over the phone, with no agency and no platform in between.
A published price could only ever be an average price, which is to say wrong for almost everybody. We would rather spend ten minutes talking: you describe your plans, your dates and your guest numbers, and you come away with a figure that genuinely matches what you want to do. The price of an exclusive hire is also quite separate from the sum of the nightly rentals: adding up the 11 gîtes would not give the right answer.

There is one exception: the estate is not the place for stag or hen parties. It mainly welcomes families, quiet groups, older guests, riders and nature stays.

One useful detail: the village of Le Puech has a municipal village hall seating about 90 people, a few minutes from the estate. It does not belong to the estate and is not part of the exclusive hire: it is booked directly with the town hall, subject to availability. We mention it because some organisers look for a covered back-up option, not because it is ours to offer.

No, as long as the whole estate is let. The 176 hectares are isolated and there are no immediate neighbours: the only limit is the one the group sets itself, since there is nobody else on site.
Is there a minimum length of stay for an event?
Two nights minimum. Many venues ask for three nights for a wedding: two are enough here. That leaves the day before for setting up and the day after for an unhurried brunch, with no race against the clock on the day itself.

The estate does not have a function room. The village of Le Puech has a municipal village hall seating about 90 people, booked directly with the town hall and subject to availability: it does not belong to the estate and is not part of the exclusive hire.

Do we need exclusive hire for a straightforward group stay?
No. Accommodating a group, even a large one, is done at the usual rental rates: you put together the number of gîtes you need, from two up to all eleven. Exclusive hire answers a different need, that of an event — the caterer of your choice, no curfew, and the estate reserved for your guests alone.
