Salon des Artisans Créateurs de Lodève, four days of fine crafts in November
For 29 years the Communauté de communes Lodévois et Larzac has brought close to 80 makers together in Lodève for one November weekend. It is one of the few events that fills the town out of season — and one of the few good reasons to come to the Hérault in November.

The 29th edition runs 19–22 November 2026, at the Espace Lutéva, avenue du Docteur Joseph Maury in Lodève. A companion exhibition is held at the Cellier des Chanoines.
Opening hours, ticketing and the exhibitor list are published by the Communauté de communes Lodévois et Larzac at lodevoisetlarzac.fr (site in French), which is the only authority on the matter. As of 29 August 2026 the organiser stated that this practical information was still being finalised for the 2026 edition: we do not reuse opening hours from previous editions that circulate elsewhere.

What you will see
This is a fine-craft fair, not a flea market: exhibitors are selected by a panel of professionals before they are given a stand.
Live demonstrations
The programme includes exhibitions and demonstrations. That is what separates this from a market: you watch the gesture, not only the finished object.
Hands-on workshops
Creative workshops are offered to children and adults alike. On a November weekend, that is what lets you bring children along without spending the day telling them not to touch.
A day pass
The organiser announces a good-value day pass covering the fair, the Lodève museum and the Cellier des Chanoines. The price is published on their site: we do not repeat it here, so that it cannot go stale.
The Cellier des Chanoines
An exhibition runs alongside the fair at the Cellier des Chanoines, in the old centre of Lodève. Both can easily be done on foot in the same day.
A regional audience
The organiser places its public inside the Montpellier – Béziers – Millau triangle. Between 4,000 and 5,000 visitors over four days, in a town of 7,000 people: parking has to be earned on Saturday afternoon.
November in Lodève: the town is busy, the countryside is empty
That is exactly the point of this event. In November there is nobody left at Lake Salagou, the paths are yours and the light on the red ruffes rock is the best of the year. Meanwhile Lodève spends a weekend at full capacity for its fair.
Three nights around the fair cost what low season costs, and give you a landscape that August visitors never see in this state. The Cirque de Mourèze 17 km away, the cathedral and museum of Lodève 7 km away, the Hérault gorges a little further: everything is open and nothing is crowded.

The fair runs for four days and draws a regional crowd. In November, accommodation around Lodève is far thinner than in summer.
Open when many are closed
The 11 gîtes at La Bergerie du Mas Delon are open all year. At Le Puech, 7 km from Lodève: about ten minutes by car, with no hunting for a parking space in town on Saturday morning.
Heating is in the price
Heating and utilities are included in the rental price: no meter reading, no extra charge on arrival. In November that is not a detail — it is often the line that decides an off-season rental bill.
A kitchen rather than a restaurant
Every gîte has a fitted kitchen. Out of season, local restaurants keep shorter hours and some close: being able to eat in after a day at the fair saves building the evening around a service time.

Three nights rather than one
The fair itself takes half a day. The rest of the weekend fills itself: Lake Salagou 4 km away, Mourèze 17 km away, and walking trails that stay usable all year.
What November does not offer
The estate pool is heated from April to October: it is not available in November. Better said plainly — a November stay here is about wide open space and quiet, not about swimming.

When is the Salon des Artisans Créateurs de Lodève held?

We publish nothing until they do: the times found elsewhere belong to previous editions. A day pass also covering the Lodève museum and the Cellier des Chanoines is announced.

La Bergerie du Mas Delon is at Le Puech, 7 km from Lodève, about ten minutes away. All 11 gîtes are open year-round and heating is included in the rental price, with no meter reading and no supplement.
